Core concepts
These terms appear across the CoachEye guides. Use this page when you want a quick explanation of how the main parts of the product fit together.
Logbook
A Logbook is the athlete-centered record. It brings together profile context, calendar activity, events, training history, session records, video, statistics, analytics, and progress signals.
Event
An event is a planned activity in the logbook. It can include location, time, recurrence, participants, and a training plan. Common event types include tennis, fitness, recovery, match play, and routine work.
Training plan
A training plan organizes the work for an event or session. It can include drills, routines, focus areas, duration, and practical notes so the session is easier to run and review.
Drill
A drill is a reusable training item. Drills can include coaching cues, steps, duration, equipment, target zones, and the skills they are meant to develop.
Session
A session is the live or completed training activity. During a session, athletes and coaches can follow the plan, start drills, manage participants, capture video, and review what happened afterward.
Smart Court
Smart Court connects a real training location with CoachEye workflows. It helps users start on-court sessions, work with cameras or recordings, and keep live activity connected to the athlete's development record.

Video Analysis
Video Analysis is the workspace for reviewing footage. Users can import or record video, slow playback down, mark key moments, add notes, and use AI-supported tools where they are available.
AI-supported analysis
AI-supported analysis can help users notice patterns, review footage faster, and connect video with training context. It is designed to support coaching judgment, not replace it.
